Role overview Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Product Owner for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Europe. Our client is a multinational corporation specializing in security products, primarily including entrance control and secure storage.

You'll develop and maintain a standardized Product Management framework for the Research & Development team, balancing Waterfall and Agile methodologies to optimize hardware and software development. You will own the long-term vision for the product platform, align priorities with stakeholders, and ensure product compliance and security by designing across APAC, European, and US markets.

• Business trips are required once every 2-3 months to EU countries. (The client will fully cover travel expenses).
• We expect the candidate to be able to join within a maximum of one month after receiving the offer.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Product Management.
• Experience with hardware and IoT projects.
• Experience in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies, and the ability to combine them effectively for optimal project outcomes.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the desired quality standards.
• Ability to align project goals with broader business objectives and market demands.
• Proven and extensive expertise in product development, including solution architecture components such as apps and cloud systems (Microsoft Azure).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make effective decisions based on data and evidence.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly, including to non-technical audiences.
• Technical background.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a standardised Product Management framework for the Research & Development team, balancing Waterfall and Agile methodologies to optimise hardware and software development.

• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and align priorities, ensuring their expectations are met through transparent communication.

• Develop and maintain a long-term vision for the product platform, considering its scalability and sustainability over time.

• Navigate certifications for APAC, European, and US markets, ensuring product compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

• Ensure security by design and focus on user safety in every feature developed.

• Identify opportunities to enhance product offerings through SaaS.
