Senior Product Manager, Video

About the Role Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the Strategic Product Area within our cloud-based video management platform (VMS) team. You will own the most complex or strategically important area, partner with engineering, design, and customers to solve critical security problems, and help shape how the broader video product team operates.

This role is primarily remote with occasional travel to the UK offices, reporting to the Director of Product Management for Video. What You'll Do

• Own a Strategic Product Area: Define the vision, outcomes, run discovery, and drive the roadmap in close partnership with engineering.
• Lead Continuous Discovery: Conduct customer interviews, observe workflows, analyze usage data, synthesize findings into problem statements, and coach others.
• Ship Product That Moves the Needle: Collaborate with engineering and design to deliver solutions with measurable outcomes and smart scope trade-offs.
• Drive AI-Native Product Strategy: Define how AI and analytics are integrated, moving toward intelligent security workflows and identifying AI-driven improvements.
• Define and Own Metrics: Build measurement frameworks, instrument adoption and engagement, use data to validate hypotheses, and invest in opportunities.
• Influence Across the Organization: Work with Sales, Support, Marketing, and partners; represent the product area in cross-functional forums.
• Raise the Bar: Contribute to team practices, mentor junior PMs, share learnings, and establish patterns that elevate the team.
• Understand the Market: Stay informed on competitors and trends; use competitive intelligence to inform strategy. What We're Looking For
• Product management experience in SaaS, cloud platforms, or enterprise software.
• Experience with video surveillance, video analytics, or physical security preferred.
• Track record of owning complex product areas end-to-end and delivering measurable outcomes.
• Deep experience running customer discovery and translating insights into product strategy.
• Strong technical fluency to engage with engineering on architecture and trade-offs.
• Experience defining product metrics frameworks and using data to drive prioritization.
• Proven ability to influence without authority across engineering, sales, marketing, and leadership.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including presenting strategy to senior leadership.
• Experience mentoring or coaching other product managers. Nice to Have
• AI coding experience and AI/ML product leadership with measurable results.
• Security industry expertise across installers, integrators, and end-users.
• Cloud + On-Prem hybrid experience.
• Multi-sided ecosystem thinking.
• Technical depth with a CS/engineering background.
