About the Role Real people. Real service. We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our growing Product Team. This role will own several complex, cross-functional Customer Experience initiatives from research through launch and post-launch analysis with significant autonomy. You will set vision and goals, help prioritize against broader business objectives, and mentor junior product managers. This is a remote-based role within select U.S. states, with occasional travel to our NY office for internal meetings.
What You'll Do
- Provide strategic vision and leadership to our largest, most complex initiatives, resolving ambiguous, escalated, and cross-functional challenges with sound judgment
- Lead comprehensive user and market research to inform product strategy, validating insights through data analysis and stakeholder interviews
- Set vision and strategic goals for complex projects, define experience architecture and outcomes across multiple user journeys
- Own commercial outcomes for the customer experience by aligning the product roadmap with financial goals and balancing CAC against lifetime value
- Drive conversion optimization across the funnel (checkout friction, search relevance, personalization)
- Translate analytics (Amplitude or similar), behavioral data, and A/B test results into actionable roadmap decisions
- Partner with engineering on platform direction, including modern headless architecture, robust APIs, and enterprise commerce capabilities
- Identify and prioritize opportunities to apply AI/ML (dynamic pricing, smart search, recommendations)
- Own and oversee product backlog, requirements, and user stories across multiple projects; improve documentation and delivery practices
- Build product documentation in JIRA and run scrum ceremonies (planning, review)
- Lead UAT planning/execution; ultimately responsible for testing and approval of implementations ahead of high-traffic peak seasons
- Establish project KPIs, develop A/B test plans and staged rollouts, monitor performance, and perform post-launch analysis
- Communicate complex insights to senior stakeholders; mentor and train junior PMs; influence cross-department work
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business, STEM, or related field
- 7+ years of product experience, with 5+ years in a similar role on a Product/Customer Experience Team
- 2+ years of e-commerce experience
- Track record of independently leading large, cross-functional initiatives end-to-end
- Strong data fluency; ability to turn analytics and A/B results into roadmap decisions
- Experience defining and running A/B tests and establishing project KPIs and monitoring plans
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence (or equivalent tools) for documentation and scrum ceremonies
- Proven leadership and mentorship skills; committed to team growth
- Exceptional problem-solving and sound judgment on complex, ambiguous decisions
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to influence senior stakeholders across departments
- Ability to multi-task, reprioritize, and manage timelines
- Exposure to applying AI/ML to commerce use cases
Nice to Have
- Ownership of commercial outcomes (conversion, revenue, or LTV)
- Familiarity with modern e-commerce architecture (headless, APIs, enterprise engines)
- Hands-on data querying with BigQuery or SQL
- Experience with design/prototyping tools (Figma a plus)
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $109,000 – $137,398 annually (USD)
- Travel to NY office for internal meetings up to 6 times per year; travel costs covered
- Company laptop and $250 work-from-home space stipend
