About the Role HubSpot's Events Platform is the behavioral data backbone of the product—it captures, stores, and surfaces what contacts, companies, and customers actually do across HubSpot-connected surfaces. As the Senior Product Manager for Events Platform, you’ll own both platform and feature work, balancing foundational infrastructure with direct customer-facing event management experiences. You’ll craft a shared vision, drive cohesive roadmaps, and translate customer needs and data insights into solutions that scale across the product. What You'll Do
- Create a shared vision and cohesive roadmap for the future of this product area as a critical member of the Product Triad
- Drive alignment, set goals, build understanding and motivate cross-functional partners across the company
- Guide new product ideas from concept through launch
- Understand our customers and their journey by engaging with them directly
- Use data to identify opportunities to improve the customer experience, devise strategy, and partner with business stakeholders to implement solutions
- Own the developer-facing schema and ingestion experience and the end-user-facing event management surfaces
- Develop intuition for where developer and marketer audiences converge/diverge
- Define how behavioral event data gets structured, queried, and surfaced across HubSpot’s product, including AI-powered features, automation, reporting, and CRM
- Shape data collection primitives that non-technical customers rely on without requiring engineering support for every new event type What We're Looking For

- Understanding of the competitive software space
- Experience with behavioral data products (e.g., event schemas, data pipelines, developer instrumentation, analytics infrastructure)
- Strong intuition for trustworthiness and stickiness in data products
- Familiarity with building for both technical and non-technical users on the same platform (developers and marketers)
- Comfort navigating a large internal stakeholder surface Nice to Have

- Annual Cash Compensation Range: $140,000—$175,000 USD
- Includes base salary, on-target commission, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles
- Some roles eligible for equity via the equity plan (RSUs)
- Overtime pay may apply in some roles
