About this role
About the Role Modash is building a platform to help brands discover, partner with, and pay creators across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. We’re looking for a Senior Product Engineer to help take that product further by turning messy customer problems into simple, useful product experiences. You’ll join a strong team of around 20 engineers across four product teams and work on problems from discovery to creator payouts, depending on the team. What You'll Do
- Turn customer pain into product decisions, understand what users are trying to do, where they get stuck, and what the simplest useful solution looks like.
- Own work from problem to production: shape the approach, build the solution, ship it, measure what happens, and improve it based on feedback.
- Work across the stack and make tradeoffs clearly: move between frontend, backend, infrastructure, data modeling, debugging, and product decisions depending on what the problem needs.
- Raise the quality of decisions around you: ask better questions, challenge weak assumptions, give useful feedback, and help the team keep momentum without waiting for perfect certainty. What We're Looking For
- The best Senior Product Engineers don’t wait for perfect context. They get close to the customer, make sharp tradeoffs, ship reliable systems, and stay accountable after launch.
- You’ve built and operated production systems that real users depend on.
- You have enough backend depth to design, build, and debug production services, APIs, data models, async work, and integrations (usually at least a couple of years).
- You care about product outcomes, not just technical elegance.
- You can learn whatever the problem requires, from frontend patterns to infrastructure, product domains, or AI-assisted workflows.
- You’re comfortable with ambiguity and can create clarity for yourself and others.
- You work well with product designers and care about the quality of the customer experience. Nice to Have
- You have worked with Vue, Node.js, TypeScript, AWS, MongoDB, or ClickHouse.
- You have worked on technically deep product surfaces: complex workflows, integrations, data-heavy systems, automation, or customer-facing infrastructure.
- You have used AI/LLM tools to prototype faster, debug better, or raise the quality of your work.
- You have experience in the creator economy, marketplaces, e-commerce, or marketing tools. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: €75,000 to €100,000 per year.
- Fully remote, from anywhere in Europe.
- Unlimited paid vacation, flexible hours, async-friendly culture, high ownership, low bureaucracy, no bullshit.
- Personal development support (courses, books, conferences).
- Regular off-sites to connect with your team.
