Senior Product Designer

About the Role We’re at an inflection point. We recently launched Maeve, our AI assistant specialized in equity planning and wealth strategy for startup employees. We’re evolving our portfolio value tracker from a static valuation view into a live surface with pricing signals, market news, and AI-generated insights. The product surface is expanding faster than one designer can hold. This is primarily a product design role — roughly 90% product, with occasional landing pages, campaign assets, or pitch slides. You won’t be hired for brand work, but some branding may surface from time to time. You’ll be the second designer, working alongside a senior designer who’s currently remote. You’ll own real surfaces from day one, help define how design works as the team grows, and report to a manager who values craft. This is a senior IC role, designed for someone who wants to shape a function rather than slot into a fixed ladder. Your manager is Robin, our Senior Director of Product, Technology — a former design director. What You'll Do

• Own real design surfaces from day one, including the portfolio value tracker, Maeve, and related live surfaces.
• Design mostly product surfaces — roughly 90% product, with the occasional landing page, campaign asset, or pitch slide.
• Collaborate with a senior designer who is currently remote and work closely with engineering and product.
• Help define how design works as the team grows and report to a manager who is invested in your craft.
• Embrace a senior IC stance: go deep, shape a function, and contribute beyond individual tasks.
• You won't be required to do brand work, but a bit of branding work may come up from time to time. What We're Looking For
• A senior product designer who can own real surfaces from day one and contribute to building a design function.
• Comfort with working in a small design function and helping define processes as the team scales.
• Ability to work on complex fintech/wealth planning tools and collaborate across product and engineering.
• Interest in shaping the product surface and crafting experiences with care.
• Openness to some branding tasks if needed. Nice to Have
• Some branding experience or willingness to take on branding tasks as part of the role.
