Senior Procurement Manager

About this role

The role

This is a pivotal, newly defined role acting as the central procurement lead for AllSaints. You will be establishing a procurement function from the ground up, putting in place great processes, governance, and driving significant commercial value across all Goods Not For Resale (GNFR) and indirect spend globally.

About the team

Sitting within the finance team you will report into the Head of Group FP&A. You will work closely with key stakeholders across the leadership team, legal and other functions.

What you’ll be doing (key responsibilities)

  • Foundational Setup: Design, implement, and embed robust procurement policies, processes, and a centralized governance framework tailored to the fast-paced nature of a fashion retailer
  • Category Strategy: Develop, own, and execute comprehensive category plans for all non-stock/GNFR and corporate services
  • Strategic Sourcing & Tenders: Lead end-to-end competitive tendering processes (RFIs/RFPs) for major contracts, working with functional leadership teams to drive cost efficiencies without compromising on quality or brand standards
  • Negotiation & Contract Management: Drive complex supplier re-negotiations and where appropriate consolidate our supplier base. Working closely with Legal and functional teams to ensure robust contract management and risk mitigation
  • Stakeholder Business Partnering: Act as the primary procurement advisor to department heads across the business, educating them on procurement best practices and gaining buy-in for improved procurement processes
  • Supplier Relationship Management (SRM): Establish KPIs and SLA frameworks to monitor, evaluate, and manage the performance of critical third-party vendors

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR (SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS)

  • MCIPS qualified
  • Extensive experience in indirect/GNFR procurement and category management, ideally within the retail, fashion, or broader consumer sectors
  • Proven track record of operating in a standalone capacity or having successfully set up/transformed a procurement function from scratch
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and a strong understanding of contract law and commercial terms
  • A resilient self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and possesses the gravitas to influence C-suite and senior stakeholders, driving a culture of commercial discipline
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple complex sourcing projects simultaneously across various indirect categories

About the location
