About the Role
As a senior process engineer or pre-project specialist, you will drive technical sales discussions and design value-added beverage process solutions. Based in India, you will collaborate with global experts to align offerings with customer needs and support projects from concept to commercial operation. This role combines engineering expertise with a sales mindset to help customers solve beverage processing challenges and contribute to our growth in the beverage category.
What You'll Do
- Engage in technical sales discussions, capture customer needs accurately, and design value-added beverage line solutions.
- Coordinate with global Tetra Pak experts to ensure solutions are aligned, competitive, and implementable.
- Support projects from conceptual development (sales) through implementation to start of commercial operation.
- Work in a multi-project environment with an agile approach, adapting to project needs.
- Take responsibility for technical solutions and quality aspects of project performance with a customer-satisfaction focus.
- Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams in an international environment; utilize resources across the organization.
- Contribute to quotation development with sales managers and project managers; estimate equipment costs and price equipment/services.
- Understand taxation, incoterms, etc., and provide sales support through technical presentations.
- Apply Plant Integration business processes and drive planning, resource utilization, deadlines, and objective attainment.
- Identify and solve technical and soft problems; analyze data; present structured alternatives with cost and risk considerations.
- Communicate clearly, share experience, and maintain records of problems and solutions; work as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel for customer discussions and plant visits; position based in Pune.
- What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Food Process Engineering or Dairy Technology.
- 8–10 years of relevant experience in beverage lines/process lines.
- Experience in beverage, food, and dairy systems production and design is a plus.
- Proficient with MS Office (MS Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint); AutoCAD.
- Process design knowledge; ability to read PID diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to plan, delegate, and multi-task; quality-focused.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Nice to Have
- Experience designing and implementing beverage process solutions and understanding beverage consumer requirements.
- Experience with plant integration or similar cross-functional implementation projects.
