About the Role
Beverage is a growing category and Tetra Pak aims to lead with value-added beverage processing and packaging solutions. As a Senior Process Engineer / Pre-Project Specialist based in Pune, you will design and implement beverage process solutions, understand beverage consumer requirements, and create value-added propositions for customers.
What You'll Do
- Get involved during technical sales discussions, capture customer needs accurately, and create value beverage line solutions.
- Coordinate with global experts to ensure solutions are fully aligned and competitive.
- Support projects from conceptual development (sales) through implementation to start of commercial operation.
- Work in a multi-project, agile environment; adapt to the needs of each project.
- Take responsibility for technical solutions and quality, focusing on customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with customers and colleagues in an international setting and leverage resources across the organization.
- Contribute to quotation development with sales managers, pre-project managers, and project managers; estimate equipment costs; source and price equipment/services.
- Understand taxation, incoterms, and related aspects; provide sales support with technical presentations.
- Apply Plant Integration business processes and manage planning, resources, deadlines, and cost-quality tradeoffs.
- Communicate clearly and work through problems with a proactive, teamwork-oriented approach; maintain records of problems and solutions.
- Travel as needed for customer discussions and plant visits.
- What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s in chemical/food process engineering or dairy technology.
- 8–10 years of experience in beverage lines/process lines; beverage, food & dairy systems production and design a plus.
- Proficient with MS Office (MS Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint); AutoCAD; process design knowledge.
- Ability to read and interpret Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID).
- Excellent problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills; strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to plan, delegate, and multi-task; quality-focused.
- Willingness to travel; able to work in an international, collaborative environment.
- Nice to Have
- Experience in selling/beverage solutions or pre-project management.
- Knowledge of Plant Integration processes and cost estimation experience.
- Familiarity with taxation, incoterms.
