Job title: Senior Process Engineer (Photolithography)
About the Role The Senior Process Engineer (Photolithography) will support a GaAs fabrication facility in a 24x7 production environment. The role focuses on sustaining and improving compound-semiconductor photolithography processes for current technology and collaborating with the development team on new technologies to optimize resist coat, exposure, development, metrology tools, and related processes. The engineer will implement and improve process control using FDC and SPC, work in a team to enhance tool capability, reduce defects and PCM failures, and ensure timely disposition of held lots.
What You'll Do
- Sustain and improve GaAs photolithography processes
- Improve photolithography processes to prevent photo issues
- Implement and improve detection using automation, FDC, and SPC
- Review photo metrology (thickness, CD, overlay), AOI, electrical, SPC, and FDC trends
- Use statistical software to analyze data to evaluate and improve processes
- Reduce held lots and ensure timely disposition of held lots
- Evaluate and implement cost reductions in the photo area
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering with 5 years of applicable experience (MS + 3 years or PhD also acceptable)
- In-depth photolithography knowledge and hands-on experience within a cleanroom
- Ability to effectively communicate with other teams
- Ability to troubleshoot wafer problems quickly
- Ability to exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: USD 77,900 - 142,900 per year
