Job title: Senior Principal Financial Analyst

About the Role Skyworks is seeking a Senior Principal Financial Analyst to support manufacturing and management. This role involves financial modeling for manufacturing operations (production variances, plant absorption, overhead activity rates, costing, spending, capital expansion, staffing changes), financial and management reporting, and the budget/planning process, along with supporting corporate finance initiatives. The Senior Principal Financial Analyst collaborates closely with manufacturing and operational management, cost center managers, other BU Financial Analysts, and other functional controllers within the Finance organization.

What You'll Do

• Develop, interpret and implement financial concepts for financial planning and control.
• Perform technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance.
• Gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts.
• Conduct economic research and studies in areas such as rates of return, depreciation, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance, and the impact of governmental requirements.
• Support manufacturing finance activities including production variances, plant absorption, overhead rates, costing, spending, capital expansion, and staffing changes.
• Provide financial and management reporting, and support budget and planning processes; assist with corporate finance initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related area.
• Five+ years of financial operating management experience with most of the experience centered on providing financial support to operating businesses.
• Semiconductor experience a plus.
• Advanced Excel and modeling skills; strong presentation skills.
• Outstanding analytical skills with ability to connect data analysis to business issues and decisions.
• Self-starter with high initiative and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Experience with SAP or Hyperion preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with all management levels.
• Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

• Semiconductor experience is a plus.
