About the Role
As a Senior / Principal Engineer in Software Engineering, you will shape the software that directly powers ASM’s advanced packaging and hybrid bonding equipment. Your work will have immediate, visible impact on highly complex semiconductor systems, combining robotics, motion control, thermal systems, and process intelligence. In this role, you will lead software architecture, roadmap definition, and execution across multiple products while growing strong engineering teams and influencing global software strategy.
What You'll Do
- Define and own software development plans and roadmaps for advanced packaging solutions, delivering software across multiple hybrid bonding products in parallel.
- Lead end-to-end software development with a strong focus on first-time-right delivery.
- Lead software architecture, roadmap definition, and execution across multiple products.
- Grow strong engineering teams and influence global software strategy.
What We're Looking For
- Senior/Principal software engineering leadership with the ability to define software architecture and roadmaps across multiple products.
- Experience delivering software for robotics, motion control, thermal systems, and process intelligence in semiconductor manufacturing or related industries.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence global software strategy.
- Strong execution mindset and end-to-end project management.
