Job title: Senior Principal Engineer, Micro-architecture and RTL
About the Role As a Senior Principal Engineer in Digital IC Design, you’ll be a key member of Marvell's Central Engineering's connectivity business group. You’ll lead micro-architecture and RTL work for complex power-management ICs, collaborate with system and chip architects, and drive end-to-end design, verification, and mentorship of engineers.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, implement, verify, and document micro-architecture and RTL for complex power management ICs.
- Work closely with system and chip architects to design industrial-quality implementations.
- Participate in the full design development cycle, end-to-end: writing micro-architecture docs, RTL coding, timing specifications, coordinating verification plans, executing tests, silicon bring-up, and maintaining designed blocks and reusable IPs.
- Produce comprehensive block architecture and register specifications.
- Schedule detailed reviews with cross-functional teams; evaluate and improve design and verification methodologies.
- Supervise or mentor other digital design engineers.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 15+ years of experience; Master’s with 10-12 years; PhD with 8-10 years.
- Experience creating micro-architectural specifications from standards; SystemVerilog RTL coding with SystemVerilog Assertions; Universal Verification Methodology (UVM).
- Creating modular/reusable design components; embedded micro-controller systems.
- Ability to multi-task in a rapidly changing and demanding environment; demonstrated project leadership.
- Knowledge of power conversion systems; experience in Ethernet, PCIe and CXL is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: USD 182,360 - 273,200 per year.
