About the Role Senior Principal Design Engineer, Digital IC Design will lead architecture definition, performance modeling, micro-architecture and RTL development and HW/SW co-design efforts for Marvell's CXL product roadmap. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality IP and SoC designs for next-generation data center solutions.
What You'll Do
- Lead architecture definition, performance modeling, micro-architecture and RTL development and HW/SW co-design for the CXL product roadmap across multi-functional teams.
- Drive continuous productivity improvements through incremental and forklift changes, and monitor industry trends.
- Collaborate with customers to translate workload requirements into product/IP hardware specifications.
- Guide the design lifecycle from architecture through tape-out and post-silicon activities to productization.
- Demonstrate strong cross-functional leadership and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field and 25+ years of related professional experience or Master's/PhD with 15-20 years of experience.
- Good understanding of SoC architecture, processor cores, memory and peripheral interfaces.
- Ability to translate customer workloads into hardware specifications and interact with customers effectively.
- Strong understanding of the SoC development process and proven ability to lead SoC & IP development.
- Track record of delivering high-quality designs and taking designs from architecture through tape-out and post-silicon activities to productization.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills; strong cross-functional leadership; self-motivated and curious about new technologies.
Nice to Have
- Experience with CXL product development or related datacenter hardware.
- Prior leadership of cross-functional design teams and successful productization of complex IP/SoC.

- Salary range: USD 184,400 - 272,950 per year.
