Job title: Senior Pre Sales Solutions Engineer
About the Role The Senior Pre Sales Solutions Engineer helps AHEAD Client Directors with formal technical presentations and design support for AHEAD's solutions and services to current and prospective clients. You own all technical aspects of sales campaigns and maintain strong client relationships. As a thought leader within the Engineering organization, you will design, architect, and, at times, consult for AHEAD clients. You should have deep knowledge across AHEAD's Enterprise Cloud Framework, including Cloud Management & Operations, Security, Datacenter Infrastructure, and Public Cloud, and strive to build expertise across multiple segments to drive product and services sales. You will partner with one or more Client Directors to craft cohesive account strategies, identify technologies and vendors, and drive strategy throughout the sales cycle.
What You'll Do
- Present at Technical Briefings and Lab Demonstrations with clients and partners to showcase AHEAD's value.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in one or more technologies and own technical sales campaigns without partner support.
- Qualify and position consulting engagements and services; size and configure products; contribute to cohesive account strategies with Client Directors.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to team resources to enhance their solution knowledge, technical acumen, and pre-sales skill sets.
- Qualify sales opportunities in terms of client technical requirements, decision-making process and funding, and decide if we should move forward with the campaign.
- Understand and articulate AHEAD's Enterprise Cloud Framework; prioritize opportunities by geography to maximize total impact on team productivity and profit.
- Drive engagement conversions to additional services/solutions; provide input for new solutions and offerings with Practice Directors.
- Present regularly at AHEAD events, user groups, conferences, and forums; lead Solution Verification / BOM Review process for the geography.
- Maintain strong client relationships and track KPIs using tools provided by the company.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: USD 240,000 - 280,000 per year.
