Role Overview

This role offers a unique opportunity to join a newly forming AI, automation, and productivity enablement team. This team serves as both a hands-on development group and a center of expertise for Microsoft Power Platform and AI solutions across the organization. The ideal candidate will operate in a highly visible, consultative capacity, engaging with business and technical stakeholders to refine use cases, recommend solution approaches, navigate enterprise guardrails, and educate users.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support solutions across Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, and SharePoint-based solutions.

• Partner directly with business and technology stakeholders to translate business ideas into practical technical solutions.

• Provide solution design guidance and best practices to teams adopting Power Platform and Copilot technologies.

• Evaluate proposed solutions against enterprise architecture, licensing, security, and platform constraints.

• Build and support automation workflows, applications, intake processes, integrations, and AI-enabled solutions.

• Develop integrations between Power Platform solutions and enterprise systems such as Jira, SharePoint, and relational databases.

• Create educational materials, internal resources, demonstrations, and training sessions to help users adopt Power Platform and AI technologies.

• Collaborate with internal engineering, analytics, governance, and platform teams.

• Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience: Extensive experience in senior-level software engineering, database development, or business intelligence roles. Candidates must possess a proven track record of designing end-to-end solutions within a highly governed enterprise environment.

Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate) and Microsoft Copilot Studio. Proficiency in working with SharePoint as a data source, and a deep understanding of connectors, APIs, and enterprise data integrations are required.

• Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating Microsoft Power Platform with Jira and SQL Server or other relational databases.

• Familiarity with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, Power BI, and enterprise AI/GenAI solutions.

• Prior experience working within financial services or another highly regulated enterprise.

• Experience establishing a Power Platform center of excellence or an internal consulting capability.
