Project description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Power BI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft Power BI, Snowflake, ETL. This role requires a professional who can design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade reporting, analytics, and process automation solutions while collaborating closely with business stakeholders and technical teams.

Responsibilities

  • Building end-to-end Power BI reports and dashboards.

  • Creating data models and managing relationships between multiple data sources.

  • Understanding star schema and dimensional modeling concepts.

  • Developing DAX measures, calculated columns and KPIs.

  • Performing data transformation and cleansing using Power Query (M Language).

  • Creating interactive visualizations and storytelling dashboards.

  • Report optimization and performance tuning

  • FlowViz

Skills

  • Must have

  • Strong hands-on Power BI experience (5+ years)

  • Snowflake architecture and core concepts.

  • Loading and ingesting data from different sources (Including Raw data)

  • Data transformation and preparation within Snowflake.

  • Understanding of ETL/ELT processes.

  • Working with structured and semi-structured data (JSON, Parquet, etc.).

  • Performance optimization basics (clustering, partitioning concepts, query performance).

  • Writing complex queries using:

  • Joins (Inner, Left, Right, Full)

  • Subqueries

  • CTEs (Common Table Expressions)

  • Window functions

  • Aggregations and grouping

  • Case statements

  • Query optimization and troubleshooting.

  • Data quality validation and reconciliation.

  • Ability to transform, clean and prepare data for reporting.

  • Nice to have

  • Azure DevOps experience or similar tools experience.

  • Ability to identify manual processes and implement automation solutions that improve efficiency, data quality and reporting reliability
