About the Role
Join the Alta Video Cloud-based video security solution team at Motorola Solutions as a Senior Platform Engineer in Uxbridge. You will help develop and scale our cloud platform for R&D and production, manage infrastructure across Google Cloud Platform and AWS, and contribute to a security-first, robust operations posture. What You'll Do
- Develop and scale our cloud platform for R&D and production environments.
- Manage day-to-day operations of our infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments, including GCP and AWS.
- Drive security-first mindset across all work; improve processes and tools.
- Stay current with design, technology, and security trends; propose solutions.
- Collaborate with software development teams to shape the unified security solution. What We're Looking For
- Outstanding technical ability; self-starter; analytical thinker; capable of turning requirements into detailed plans.
- Strong infrastructure knowledge in Linux, AWS and/or GCP, Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, Prometheus, Grafana, and Bash.
- Experience with writing tests and planning for day 2 operations; desire to own end-to-end delivery.
- Proactive about selecting and sharing the right tools; interest in chaos engineering to improve robustness.
- Excellent communication in English; able to work in a collaborative team and also take on independent challenges. Nice to Have
- Cloud architecture development experience across GCP and/or AWS.
- Go, Python or JavaScript programming languages.
- CI/CD tooling knowledge (GitHub Actions/Workflows or Jenkins). Compensation & Benefits
