About the Role ICON seeks a Senior Patient Recruitment Lead to strategize and oversee patient recruitment initiatives for clinical trials. You will lead cross-functional teams, design data-driven recruitment strategies, and partner with providers and patient groups to optimize patient enrollment and retention.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute comprehensive patient recruitment strategies aligned with study protocols and timelines.
- Lead cross-functional teams in identifying and engaging target patient populations using data-driven insights to optimize recruitment.
- Build and maintain partnerships with healthcare providers, patient advocacy groups, and community organizations to enhance recruitment and retention strategies.
- Analyze recruitment metrics to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities; make data-informed recommendations.
- Create and oversee patient-centric marketing materials and outreach campaigns to communicate trial benefits and address patient concerns.
- Provide training and guidance to project teams on recruitment best practices, tools, and techniques.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory guidelines, and emerging technologies affecting patient recruitment and engagement.
- Oversee talent acquisition and recruitment workstreams, ensuring deliverables meet quality and timeline expectations.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline or healthcare-related field.
- Extensive experience in patient recruitment or clinical research with a proven track record of successful strategies in trials.
- Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide cross-functional teams toward recruitment goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders and advocate for patient participation.
- Strong analytical skills with experience evaluating recruitment performance metrics and data-driven decision making.
- Creative problem-solver with a passion for improving patient access to trials and the patient experience.
- Proficiency in digital marketing strategies and tools; familiarity with social media outreach.
- Willingness to travel approximately 20%.
