About this role
Own the order journey for a global skincare brand, from first order to final shipment.
Are you the person your team calls when an order gets stuck? We are looking for an experienced order management professional who enjoys solving problems, gets every detail right, and wants real ownership of international B2B accounts.
About the Opportunity
Our client is a well established Australian skincare brand. It makes its products in South Australia and sells them in more than 25 countries through distributors and its own overseas subsidiaries. You will join a small, hands on Customer Service team and look after B2B distributor accounts across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Australia, as well as subsidiary markets including Japan, China, Hong Kong and the US. The team is lean, so your work is visible and your decisions matter.
What You’ll Do
-
Enter and manage B2B orders accurately in the ERP, checking SKUs, quantities, pricing and shipping details
-
Handle different order types, from distributor orders to stock transfers for overseas subsidiaries
-
Coordinate shipments with the warehouse, logistics partners and freight forwarders, using the right Incoterms
-
Spot and solve problems early, whether they come from the system, the warehouse, shipping or a customer request
-
Be the main contact for distributors on orders, stock availability, pricing and delivery status
-
Process returns, credits, part orders, back orders and special requests
-
Work with Finance on billing and invoicing across the full Order to Cash cycle
-
Keep accurate records and build order and service reports in Excel
-
Suggest ways to make order processing faster and more accurate
This role is for you if you like owning the outcome
Orders don’t arrive in a steady stream. Some days are quiet, then a wave comes in all at once. You will do well here if you stay calm when it gets busy, think a problem through before asking for help, and take pride in getting every detail right the first time.
What You Bring
-
At least 4 years in order management, order processing, sales administration or customer service for B2B customers
-
End to end Order to Cash experience, from order entry through shipment and billing
-
Experience with international or cross border customers, ideally distributors
-
Working knowledge of Incoterms, export shipping and freight forwarder coordination
-
Hands on experience with an ERP system such as Oracle, SAP or Microsoft Dynamics
-
Strong practical Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
-
Excellent written and spoken English
-
A sharp eye for detail and the habit of checking your own work
-
Sound judgment and the confidence to make decisions when things change quickly
-
A bonus: experience in skincare, beauty or consumer goods, or with B2C customer support
Why You’ll Love This Role
-
Real ownership of an international order book, not a scripted queue
-
Daytime hours aligned with Australia
-
Work from home flexibility
-
Exposure to markets across Europe, Asia, Australia and the US
-
A supportive manager, with clear process guides and templates from day one
-
A small team where your contribution is seen and valued
Hours & Work Setup
The role follows South Australian business hours: a 9 hour day with a 1 hour lunch, starting around 9:00 AM Adelaide time.
