Job title: Senior Optimisation Manager (POD Lead)
About the Role The purpose of this role is to lead and manage the implementation and execution of CRO strategies and the day-to-day communication with clients to help achieve their goals. Introduction to the dentsu Optimisation & UX team — we are part of one of the world's largest digital-first end-to-end media agencies, offering CRO & UX to top companies. We operate as a smaller agency within a large network, giving you the security of a big group with the autonomy of an independent agency. You will lead CRO & UX projects for clients including Specsavers, Asda, Dr Martens, Honda, Pets at Home, People’s Postcode Lottery, Jurys Inn and more.
What You'll Do
- Lead a team of CRO & UX Specialists, including Strategists, Designers, Data Analysts, Researchers and Developers, with responsibility for resource management and direct team leadership; support from experts in Data, Design, Research and Development means you don’t need to be expert in every discipline.
- Oversee a portfolio of client accounts, guiding teams to ensure clients receive value and that strategies align with long-term objectives.
- Review your teams’ client strategies, including A/B testing, page/journey redesigns, optimisation of the acquisition journey and site speed.
- Be accountable for clients, identifying threats and delivering solutions to keep clients happy and investing in our services.
- Lead annual, quarterly and monthly reviews for clients, communicating success of optimisation programmes to senior stakeholders.
- Instill a culture of evidence-based website optimisation using quantitative and qualitative methods.
- Direct resource planning for your team, working with Strategists to set deadlines and prioritise activity.
- Build relationships with wider agency teams (PPC, SEO, Social, Affiliates, Analytics) to enable collaboration.
- Find areas for revenue growth, increase client investment, or cross-sell with the sales team.
- Organise and deliver training sessions for all team members.
- Analyse our proposition and innovate to keep CRO at the forefront of the market.
What We're Looking For
- Direct management experience including creating and following personal development plans.
- Comprehensive knowledge of CRO and UX, including A/B testing, personalisation and UX projects.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead difficult client calls/meetings at short notice and steer them to actionable conclusions.
- Ability to mentor and coach your team on CRO and instil a desire for continuous learning and development.
