The Role

Stanley Black & Decker (NYSE:SWK) is seeking a Senior Office Manager who will be responsible for leading day-to-day workplace operations and office services at Stanley Black & Decker’s executive office in Charlotte, North Carolina. This professional will work under the direct guidance and mentorship of the Senior Executive Assistant (SEA) to the CEO. This role focuses on day-to-day administrative execution, logistical coordination, and maintaining a seamless, world-class office environment.

This position will be based at our office in Charlotte, North Carolina at 600 South Tryon Street.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Own day-to-day workplace operations, site readiness, and office services for a high-visibility executive office environment
  • Coordinate executive visits, leadership meetings, and other high-profile office activity with a strong focus on planning, execution, and experience
  • Partner across Executive Assistants, HR, Facilities, IT, Security and Communications to deliver a seamless user experience
  • Establish service standards, operating rhythms and escalation paths to support consistent execution and timely issue resolution
  • Identify capacity gaps and improve the support model as the Charlotte office continues to grow
  • Lead vendor coordination across workplace services, hospitality, maintenance and related office support needs
  • Monitor service delivery and proactively resolve operational issues with urgency and sound judgment
  • Ensure executive spaces, meeting rooms and common areas consistently reflect a polished, guest-ready standard
  • Support the preparation and coordination of materials, logistics and office readiness for leadership meetings, Board-related activity, and other priority events in close collaboration with other senior leadership staff
  • Coordinate conference room scheduling, meeting support and technology readiness for executive and leadership meetings
  • Manage office supply, pantry and workplace inventory to ensure uninterrupted day-to-day operations
  • Serve as a key point-of-contact for property management and workplace service providers
  • Support a high-quality experience for executive leadership, Board of Director members and external guests through strong hospitality and attention to detail
  • Provide select administrative and operational support aligned to evolving executive office priorities

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a highly polished, proactive operations professional with strong experience managing office services, coordinating high-profile meetings and visits, and partnering across functions to deliver a seamless workplace experience. They bring excellent judgment, strong communication, and a service-oriented approach to running the office smoothly and professionally.

  • At least seven years of experience in workplace operations, office management, facilities coordination, hospitality, employee experience or related environments
  • Proven success in a high-visibility, executive-facing office environment
  • Strong vendor management, logistics, service delivery and issue-resolution capability
  • High judgment, discretion and strong cross-functional coordination skills
  • Experience in a regional headquarters, executive office or multi-function site preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, highly confidential environment
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills
  • Proven ability to improve processes, establish operating rhythms and scale support in a growing office environment
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office 365; experience with workplace, procurement or expense systems such as SAP Ariba and Concur is a plus

The Salary range for this position is 77,600.00 - 124,900.00

This is the lowest to highest annual full-time salary range we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. The salary offered within the range may vary depending on multiple factors including job level, geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and in compliance with local wage requirements. Please note that salary is only one component of total rewards at Stanley Black & Decker.
