Senior Network Technical Consultant

Senior Network Technical Consultant focused on Software-Defined Networking, with emphasis on NSX, Cisco ACI, and Avi. You will act as a subject matter expert, design and deploy complex SDN solutions, and guide customers from architecture through deployment to ensure successful outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Serve as subject matter expert for software-defined technologies
• Demonstrate strong understanding of Cisco ACI, Cisco or Arista VXLAN, and VMware NSX (NSX-V & NSX-T)
• Participate in deployment of complex solutions, produce written deliverables, and conduct client workshops
• Communicate and execute architecture strategy & approach to client senior management and stakeholders
• Implement design architecture objectives aligned with client needs and business goals
• Practice receptive listening and present ideas clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
• Exhibit situational leadership and timely decision-making
• Drive successful customer outcomes
• Collaborate effectively internally and with clients
• Manage multiple IT projects on time and within budget
• Ensure knowledge transfer to relevant client teams for smooth operation

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 7 years of data center experience in enterprise environments
• Deep hands-on technical knowledge in: Cisco, Arista, or VMware NSX large scale data center deployments/migrations
• Ownership mindset, problem solver, sense of urgency, and ability to be proactive in resolving challenges
• Depth of knowledge around underlay, overlay concepts, segmentation strategies, and solution interoperability
• Experience with VMware technologies, NSX, NSX-T, and Avi
• Strong understanding of VXLAN, OTV, EVPN/BGP, and overlay networking
• Experience with AVI Networks load balancers, including GSLB, controllers, and data/control planes in VMware NSX environments
• Proficiency in troubleshooting, performance optimization, and automation

Nice to Have

• Certifications related to SDN/Networking (e.g., Cisco, VMware, Avi) and willingness to obtain/maintain them
• Experience in large-scale enterprise data centers and customer-facing roles
• Ability to work across multiple teams and stakeholders

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $170,000 - $200,000 per year (USD) as On-Target Earnings (OTE)
