About the Role This role is an expert-level network operations leadership position overseeing complex, large-scale Cisco-based LAN/WAN, Wireless WLAN, and SD-WAN environments. The role focuses on service excellence, continuous process improvements, resolving high-impact issues, and empowering teams through effective leadership. The objective is to deliver reliable network solutions aligned with client expectations to support organizational growth and reliability.
What You'll Do
- Lead incident and problem resolution for complex network issues using Cisco LAN/WAN, Wireless WLAN, and SD-WAN technologies, ensuring minimal downtime and adherence to SLAs.
- Oversee network operations by monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing network performance with Cisco Prime, DNA Center, and SD-WAN management platforms, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Architect and implement advanced network changes and upgrades using Cisco IOS, Catalyst, and Meraki solutions, ensuring compliance with organizational and client requirements.
- Mentor and guide the support team in troubleshooting, escalation management, and adoption of best practices for Cisco networking technologies and SD-WAN.
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business needs, translating them into actionable network operations strategies using Cisco and SD-WAN toolsets.
- Drive process innovation by evaluating emerging Cisco networking and SD-WAN technologies, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance operational efficiency and security.
- Ensure robust documentation, knowledge transfer, and transparent communication of network operations policies and procedures across teams.
