About the Role Join Zebra Technologies as a Senior Network Engineer to design, deploy, and secure our global IT infrastructure. You will build and optimize enterprise network solutions, drive reliability, and mentor teammates in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. What You'll Do
- Design, Deployment & Strategy: Partner with IT architects to design, configure, and implement advanced enterprise network and security solutions aligned with business goals.
- Technology Evaluation: Participate in PoC testing for emerging technologies and recommend improvements for network optimization and cost efficiency.
- Implement Standards: Deploy, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, and routing hardware while adhering to enterprise architecture standards.
- M&A Support: Contribute to network assessments for mergers and acquisitions and execute integration plans to standardize newly acquired environments safely and efficiently.
- Security, Resilience & Compliance: Support Disaster Recovery by deploying resilient infrastructures; routinely assess security protocols and manage changes within established change-control processes; ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards.
- Operations, Support & Mentorship: Act as a Level 3 escalation point, own project deliverables, mentor junior engineers, and create high/low level designs and SOPs. What We're Looking For
- Core Networking, Cloud & Security Expertise: strong networking fundamentals (BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP), LAN/WAN topology, VPNs, and routing hardware; experience with WAN routing metrics and secure inter/intra-cloud routing (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Security & Compliance: knowledge of zero-trust architectures, cryptography, and modern security protocols.
- Professional Skills: team collaboration, customer-focused mindset, and strong analytical troubleshooting.
- Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 5+ years of enterprise network engineering experience; proven ability to support large-scale global IT environments.
- Zscaler & Data Center Ops: experience with Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA/ZDX/ZTB) and Cisco Nexus Dashboard for data center visibility/automation.
- Wireless & Edge: experience with HPE Mist, Cisco Meraki, and Cisco wireless environments.
- Firewalls & Certifications: Palo Alto Networks firewalls; PCNSE or PCNSA preferred.
- Travel: ability and willingness to travel up to 10% globally or domestically. Nice to Have
- CCNP/CCIE (Enterprise and/or Data Center)
