Job Summary
This role requires both hands-on technical depth and the ability to contribute to long-term infrastructure strategy in a fast-moving semiconductor company. The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and operational excellence of Semtech's global network infrastructure, spanning 30+ sites across North America, EMEA, and APAC. This role owns a broad technology portfolio including Palo Alto next-generation firewalls, Zscaler, Aryaka SD-WAN, LAN/WAN architecture, Cisco L2/L3 network devices, and cloud networking across AWS and Azure environments. The first major initiative for this role will be leading Semtech's migration from its current firewall infrastructure to a Zscaler-based zero-trust architecture. Beyond that project, the role will continue to own the design, operation, and improvement of the global network, along with initiatives such as VPN modernization and cross-regional connectivity. Working closely with the IT Infrastructure, Security, and Cloud teams, this role plays a key part in ensuring network resilience, performance, and security for a fast-growing global semiconductor company.
