Team Overview The DHI Information Technology Online Scrum Team supports TransUnion’s DHI business unit by building, maintaining, and modernizing secure software applications that help enable digital insurance and telematics capabilities. The team works closely with partners across Insurance, Product Management, Project Management, and technology leadership to deliver scalable, reliable solutions that support business growth and operational effectiveness. Reporting to the Manager, Software Development. This is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management.
Role Overview And Core Responsibilities Lead development efforts for key DHI Information Technology software applications and frameworks, including the new TransUnion Telematics project, to support business priorities across Insurance, Product Management, and Project Management. Serve as a technical leader for the DHI Information Technology Online Scrum Team, helping guide solution design, architecture decisions, delivery planning, and engineering best practices. Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, maintain, and support secure enterprise applications using the Microsoft .NET framework and modern software engineering practices. Partner with stakeholders and senior leaders to define technical direction, align development work to business outcomes, and help prioritize complex initiatives in a fast-paced delivery environment. Build and support complex integrations and external connections with third-party business partners, with a focus on reliability, scalability, performance, and security. Maintain and enhance end-to-end continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, including automated testing, repeatable deployments, and continuous security scanning across environments. Apply a security-first software development lifecycle (SDLC) approach by using secure coding practices, supporting vulnerability remediation, and aligning work to internal policies, regulatory expectations, and industry standards. Research, evaluate, and recommend technologies, tools, and design approaches that can improve development productivity, application performance, maintainability, and cloud cost optimization.
