Senior Murex Trading FO

We provide end-to-end project services and have delivered numerous Murex projects across major asset classes and sectors including investment banking, asset management, corporate treasury, and insurance. This Senior Murex Trading Front Office (FO) role in Toronto focuses on delivering high-quality Murex-based support and client-facing services in the trading domain.

What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality support for the Murex platform in market data management, pricing, and structuring of complex financial products within the trading domain (e.g. FX derivatives, interest rate derivatives, fixed income).
• Utilize Front Office experience with financial derivatives to participate in implementation and upgrade projects through build and validation phases.
• Develop test cases to troubleshoot the system and document defective use cases for fixes by developers.
• Collaborate with clients on Trading/FO projects and contribute to build and validation activities for implementations and upgrades.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years' experience with Murex.
• 2-4 years' experience in financial markets/IT business analysis.
• 2+ years' experience working with the Murex product on Trading or FO support/projects with clients.
• Strong knowledge/understanding of IRD, CRD, COM, EQD, FXD, FXMM.
• Strong SQL, Unix, scripting, Sybase and Oracle skills.
• Ability to utilize FO experience on financial derivatives and Murex software to participate in implementation and upgrade projects through build and validation phases.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; client focus; strong organizational skills; ability to work in teams; personal leadership; planning and organizing; analytical decision-making.
• Must have 3+ years' experience with Murex; a detail-oriented, quick-learning, self-starter mindset with a strong personality.

Nice to Have

• BS or higher degree in Finance, Mathematics or equivalent.
• Experience with implementations and upgrades; test management; trade life cycle management; market data management.
• Knowledge in SQL (Oracle and/or Sybase) and Unix commands is a plus.
• Good understanding of Market Risk Management (including VaR, stress-testing, back-testing).
