Senior Mold Engineer

About the Role We are seeking a Senior Mold Engineer to lead the Mold Shop group, oversee daily operations, and drive mold trials for new product introductions. The role focuses on ensuring production readiness, product appearance and dimensional requirements, and continuous improvement in mold changeover, maintenance, and reliability. What You'll Do

• Oversee the daily operations of the mold shop group.
• Conduct daily inspections to improve mold changeover, maintenance, and repair success rates; promptly assist production issue handling with engineers; coordinate NPI new mold trials; confirm product appearance and dimensional inspection requirements; drive the progression of new mold mass production.
• Assist engineers in new product mold design reviews, mold debugging, tooling and fixture acceptance, and review/accept related process documents.
• Manage mold room consumables and spare parts; participate in annual supplier evaluations for spare parts.
• Engage in cross-department and cross-company technical exchanges and knowledge sharing; participate in innovation and knowledge sharing. What We're Looking For
• High school diploma or above.
• 8+ years of injection molding tooling background with rich experience in mold trials and acceptance.
• Solid knowledge of injection molding tooling, processes, and related areas.
• Ability to collaborate with production, maintenance, and process engineering to improve department performance.
• Strong cross-functional communication, high sense of responsibility, and ability to adapt to project timelines. Nice to Have
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Familiarity with injection molding tool room workflows and strong quality mindset.
• Familiarity with precision connector mold structures; extensive mold shop management experience.
• Proactive, quick learner; willingness to mentor others.
