Senior MLOps Engineer

Role overview Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior MLOps Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Europe. Our client is an American mobile computing company. You will design end-to-end ML pipelines, automate model training and evaluation, develop internal APIs and Python libraries, and optimize CI/CD and containerized environments for ML workloads.

Requirements

• Advanced Python development skills.
• Strong experience writing maintainable, well-tested code with proper error handling.
• Experience building RESTful services and model-serving endpoints.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and container optimization.
• Experience with Kubernetes and/or RunAI.
• Strong knowledge of GitHub Actions and CI/CD workflow design.
• Experience with GCP, particularly Vertex AI, Cloud Batch, or similar services.
• Experience implementing unit, integration, and E2E tests.
• Understanding of computer vision models, image processing, and ML workflows.
• Experience with model metrics and performance benchmarking.
• Experience creating and maintaining Python packages and dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end MLOps architecture for computer vision models.

• Build automated pipelines for model training, quantization, conversion, and evaluation.

• Develop systems for automated model testing across multiple target architectures.

• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for the ML model lifecycle.

• Build and optimize Docker images for development and production environments.

• Develop Python libraries, RESTful APIs, and model-serving endpoints.

• Implement unit, integration, and E2E testing.

• Calculate model metrics and perform performance benchmarking.

• Manage Python packages, dependencies, and internal ML tooling.

• Work with CV models, image processing, and related ML tasks.
