Senior MEP Engineer
Shafa Construction is actively seeking a highly experienced Senior MEP Engineer to join our esteemed Building Division at our Head Office in Dubai, UAE.
This critical role is designed for professionals with a substantial background in the UAE's construction sector, specifically within the realm of luxury villa developments or large-scale residential building projects. You will be instrumental in the successful planning, execution, and delivery of these complex projects.
As a Senior MEP Engineer, you will lead and manage the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing aspects, ensuring all work adheres to the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. Your expertise will be vital in overseeing design implementation, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems.
- Ensure all MEP work complies with UAE building codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Manage and coordinate with MEP subcontractors and suppliers.
- Review MEP drawings and specifications, providing technical expertise and solutions.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
- Prepare and manage MEP project schedules and budgets.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any MEP-related issues that arise during construction.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure seamless project delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in MEP engineering.
- Proven experience in the UAE construction market, with a strong portfolio of luxury villa or mega residential building projects.
- In-depth knowledge of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, and fire protection.
- Familiarity with relevant UAE building codes and regulations.
- Strong project management and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
