Senior Meeting Planner

The Senior Event Planner is responsible for all elements of the end-to-end management of an event, including sourcing, group air, logistics, financial management and delivery.
The person will manage the process from Meeting Qualification call and initial venue proposal to post project financial reconciliation, respecting customer and American Express Meeting & Events standards, procedures and policies.
This is a hybrid role; you will work two days a week from home and three days a week from our Budapest office.
What you'll do
- End to End National and/ or international project management
- Able to run own events, including large complex meetings
- Supplier management - negotiate and execute complex supplier contracts
- Accurate and timely data management
- Maximising the of revenue per event and understanding of overall contribution to revenue and P&L
- Budget management – manage large/complex budgets, maintain working versions, process supplier and client invoices, manage cash flow and payment schedules
- Registration Website coordination end to end if required
- Onsite event assistance (if required)
What we're looking for:
- Completed Bachelor’ s degree in tourism or a related economic field
- Fluent in Hungarian and English (C1 level)
- Additional languages are a benefit to the role
- Driving License -B category (preferred but not mandatory)
- Customer care excellence
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Package
- Experienced CRM system user – data entry, eRFP, reporting, budget
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in (end-to end, complex) corporate event management, agency or in-house
