Our team manages and executes large-scale capital projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety and leave a lasting positive legacy in the communities we engage with.

What you’ll do

  • This is an opportunity to work across the full project lifecycle, from studies and concept development through to detailed design, procurement, construction support and commissioning for Tier 1 mining clients. Working within our Mining & Metals team, you'll lead and contribute to a broad range of sustaining capital and brownfield projects across iron ore, gold, lithium, base metals and mineral processing operations.
  • Delivering mechanical engineering packages across studies, design and project execution phases.
  • Providing technical leadership and engineering expertise on multidisciplinary mining and processing projects.
  • Developing engineering deliverables including reports, specifications, calculations and technical documentation.
  • Collaborating closely with process, civil, structural, electrical and project delivery teams to develop integrated engineering solutions.
  • Engaging with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver practical, fit-for-purpose outcomes.
  • Supporting project planning, risk management, cost estimation and engineering governance activities.
  • Contributing to the successful delivery of brownfield and sustaining capital projects within operating mining environments.
  • Mentoring and supporting developing engineers while contributing to a strong engineering culture.

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

  • Ideally 8+ years' experience within mining, mineral processing or industrial projects.

  • Strong consulting experience across studies, detailed design and project delivery.

  • Experience delivering sustaining capital projects.

  • Knowledge of pipelines, pumping systems, slurry handling and process plant infrastructure.

  • Exposure to materials handling systems, process equipment and piping design.

  • Strong understanding of procurement, vendor management and construction support activities.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

  • Chartered status or progress toward Chartership will be highly regarded.
