About the Role Danfoss is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and optimize precision assembly processes and production lines. The role focuses on integrating automation and machine vision into assembly and inspection, while driving continuous improvement in high-precision and high-cleanliness manufacturing environments. What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and optimize precision assembly processes and production lines.
- Integrate automation or machine vision technology into assembly and inspection processes.
- Use 3D CAD software to design and create necessary tooling, fixtures, and jigs.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for process or quality issues on the assembly line and conduct root cause analysis.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen (Continuous Improvement), and other projects to enhance efficiency and quality, particularly in high-precision and high-cleanliness production environments. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in a precision assembly & testing environment.
- Experience with intelligent production lines or automated vision inspection projects.
- Proven, practical experience in designing and drawing mechanical components, tooling, or fixtures.
- Proficient with AutoCAD and at least one major 3D CAD software. Compensation & Benefits
