About the Role
Join ZF as a Senior Mechanical Designer in the Commercial Vehicle Solutions division. You will assess customer and regulatory requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and contribute to the development of cost-efficient, standardized CV brake products.
What You'll Do

Assess customer & legal requirements, identify gaps, and translate into technical requirements

Plan mechanical design tasks and support the lead engineer in calculating development cost and timing

Develop product concepts according to technical requirements and field experience

Evaluate different concepts (own, competitors, suppliers) to find the best cost option using DFA & 6sigma methods

Consider design rules & standards, foster standardization

What We're Looking For

Minimum 10 years of experience in Product Engineering in the automotive industry

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, etc

Good knowledge about CV brake products

Fluent English
