About this role
Senior Marketing Automation Manager based remotely in the EMEA region. This role leads Canonical's marketing automation strategy to drive demand, engagement, and pipeline for our open source software and Ubuntu platform.
Develop and execute marketing automation campaigns across email, nurture, and cross-channel programs. Optimize customer journeys, segmentation, and lifecycle marketing to improve engagement and conversions. Collaborate with product, sales, and demand generation teams to align programs with business goals. Analyze performance data and report on program impact, ROI, and insights to inform future initiatives. Manage marketing tech stack and vendor relationships to scale automation capabilities.
Proven experience in strategic marketing automation for B2B software or technology companies. Proficiency with marketing automation platforms and CRM integration. Strong data analytics, experimentation, and performance measurement skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities; comfortable working in a remote, cross-functional environment in EMEA. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; advanced degree a plus.
Experience in open source software or the Ubuntu ecosystem. Familiarity with enterprise software buying cycles and security/compliance considerations. Multilingual capabilities or experience engaging diverse regional audiences.
