About this role
Xometry (NASDAQ: XMTR) powers the industries of today and tomorrow by connecting the people with big ideas to the manufacturers who can bring them to life. Xometry’s digital marketplace gives manufacturers the critical resources they need to grow their business while also making it easy for buyers at Fortune 1000 companies to tap into global manufacturing capacity.
We are looking for a strategic Senior Marketing Analyst to join our growing data and analytics (DNA) team at Thomasnet.com and serve as the analytical engine behind our paid and owned marketing strategy. This is a role that sits at the intersection of marketing performance, data engineering, and executive storytelling. You will own paid marketing analytics end-to-end: building the data infrastructure that powers our reporting, running attribution analysis across channels, and — critically — translating complex data into the clear narratives that drive budget, strategy, and product decisions. We don't just need someone who can build a dashboard. We need someone who knows what it means, and can make a room of senior leaders feel it. This role bridges Marketing, Sales, Yield, and Product. Your work will directly influence how we allocate marketing spend, price our inventory, and grow revenue.

How You’ll Contribute:
Paid Marketing Analytics
-
Own end-to-end analytics for paid channels: Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and any emerging paid media — from impression to revenue attribution
-
Build and maintain attribution models and funnel reporting across paid and organic channels to measure true ROAS, CAC, and long-term LTV outcomes
-
Monitor campaign pacing, budget utilization, and performance against targets; surface anomalies and recommend actions in real time
Insights & Storytelling
-
Transform raw marketing data into clear, executive-ready narratives — not just "what happened," but "why it happened" and "what we should do"
-
Develop weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance recaps for leadership that drive decisions, not just inform them
-
Proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities across marketing channels and synthesize them into a point of view — with a recommendation
-
Partner with the marketing and sales teams to answer the "so what" behind every metric
Analytics Engineering
-
Build and maintain robust data models in Snowflake (SQL, dbt, or similar) integrating data from Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Segment, Salesforce, Iterable, and ad servers
-
Manage and improve reverse-ETL pipelines that feed performance data back into operational tools (Google Ads API, campaign management platforms)
-
Create and own Looker dashboards aligned to marketing KPIs, campaign health, and revenue forecasting
Testing & Experimentation
-
Design and analyze A/B tests for paid campaigns, landing pages, and yield strategies; translate statistical results into plain-language recommendations
-
Support channel-level experiments: bid strategies, audience segmentation, creative performance
What You'll Bring to Xometry:
Experience
-
5+ years in marketing analytics, growth analytics, or a closely related field — ideally in a marketplace, B2B SaaS, AdTech, or lead-gen environment
-
Demonstrated experience owning paid marketing analytics (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta); you understand how the platforms work, not just how to report on them
-
Track record of producing analysis that changed a decision — and you can tell that story in an interview
-
Technical Skills
-
Expert-level SQL; strong Python for data manipulation and analysis
-
Hands-on with Snowflake and dbt (or equivalent modern data stack)
-
Proficient in Looker (or Tableau/similar) — you build dashboards that people actually use
-
Familiarity with Google Ads API, Microsoft Ads API, Segment event tracking, and CRM data (Salesforce, HubSpot)
-
Bonus: experience with ad servers or yield platforms (Kevel, Placements.io)
-
Communication & Storytelling
-
Exceptional written and verbal communication — you write crisp, jargon-free analyses that a CMO would forward to a CEO
-
Ability to structure ambiguous problems, frame a hypothesis, and present findings with confidence and a point of view
-
Comfort presenting to senior stakeholders; you don't hide behind the data, you use it to make an argument
-
Domain Knowledge
-
Deep understanding of paid marketing KPIs: ROAS, CPC, CPL, impression share, quality score, attribution windows
-
Familiarity with marketing attribution methodologies (last-click, data-driven, multi-touch)
-
Understanding of lead funnels from impression through conversion and renewal
