Job title: Senior Market Leader, External Wholesaler, Northern CA

About the Role

Senior Market Leader will drive external wholesaling across Northern CA, selling ETF, mutual funds and multi-asset solutions to high‑value clients, acting as the technical expert and regional lead on bank products and the outside marketplace. The role emphasizes execution of strategic direction and cross‑functional collaboration.

What You'll Do

• Sell ETF, Mutual Fund and Multi Asset Class products and services to suitable prospects, generating fee revenue for the bank.
• Identify new prospects by researching potential needs and developing a business plan.
• Act as the technical expert and regional lead on bank products and the outside marketplace.
• Make customized sales presentations to large and complex clients.
• Utilize knowledge of investment, trust, custody and securities products to work with internal partners and recommend new services or products.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with advisors and keep them informed of bank products and services.
• Maintain knowledge of products/services by initiating frequent contact with other financial institutions and partners, and staying current on laws and regulations.
• Maintain knowledge of competitors and their products/services.
• Leverage multi-disciplinary expertise and a cross‑functional perspective to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Carry out complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and/or ambiguous issues.
• Focus on execution of strategic direction of business function activities, aligning with wider organization goals.

What We're Looking For

• Knowledge of investment management across products and segments (fixed income, active/passive equities, cash, securities, international) and familiarity with Northern products and services.
• Ability to communicate and sell Northern products to generate revenue.
• Knowledge of securities and pension industry products to compete with other financial institutions.
• Negotiation skills for fee proposals.
• Leadership and organizational skills.
