About the Role We are part of Accenture’s Supply Chain & Operations practice, helping Fortune 500 and private-equity-backed clients reinvent how they plan and run their supply chains. The Supply Chain Senior Manager serves as a strategic advisor to utility-sector clients, leading the design, optimization, and transformation of supply chain operations across generation, transmission, distribution, and customer service functions, leveraging AI, machine learning, and emerging agentic technologies. What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end supply chain transformation strategies for utility clients across generation, transmission, distribution, and field services.
- Assess current-state operating models and performance; develop future-state architectures with AI-driven planning, autonomous agents, digital twins, and predictive analytics.
- Build business cases and value models to quantify financial impact, efficiency gains, and risk reduction.
- Drive procurement and category management including strategic sourcing, vendor selection, negotiations, and contract development.
- Support large capital programs (grid hardening, interconnections) with forecasting, scheduling, and risk management for long-lead items.
- Explore and apply AI/agentic solutions (autonomous demand planning, intelligent sourcing, supplier-risk monitoring, predictive inventory, AI-powered field service scheduling).
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to operationalize AI solutions; define governance and risk mitigation for responsible AI deployment.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams through strategy, design, implementation, and change enablement; shape thought leadership and reusable assets.
- Manage stakeholder alignment across business, operations, and technology; ensure quality, timeliness, and profitability of engagements. What We're Looking For
- Senior-level experience leading end-to-end supply chain transformation engagements in the utilities sector.
- Deep expertise in demand forecasting, planning, S&OP, and capital project supply needs (substations, AMI, pipelines, etc.).
- Strong experience with procurement, sourcing, supplier risk, contract management, and ESG/sustainability in sourcing.
- Proven ability to build business cases, conduct financial modeling, and present to senior executives.
- Proficiency with AI/machine learning, digital twins, and autonomous planning concepts; ability to partner with data science teams.
- Excellent executive communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration; willingness to travel as needed. Nice to Have
- Experience with Emergency Preparedness & Storm Response logistics; grid modernization, decarbonization, and regulatory pressures context.
