About the Role The Senior Manager, Strategic Insights is a proactive problem solver responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing research studies to accelerate organizational priorities and improve the audience experience. This role translates stakeholder needs into actionable research plans, ensuring the audience is central to decision-making, and collaborates with leaders to present analyses that highlight engagement drivers and friction points, delivering recommendations for optimizing experiences and driving measurable outcomes. By integrating quantitative, qualitative, and emerging data sources—including AI-powered analytics—the role delivers actionable insights, supports measurement frameworks, and contributes to a culture of continuous learning and innovation. This is a 100% remote position.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design, execution, and analysis of research studies to generate clear, actionable insights and recommendations that drive measurable business outcomes within the area of responsibility.
- Integrate quantitative, qualitative, and AI-powered data sources, leverage feedback platforms, and translate complex data into impactful visualizations and compelling stories that inform and influence decision-making.
- Provide actionable recommendations to business owners, advocate for the audience’s point of view, and lead journey mapping initiatives to ensure a holistic understanding of experiences across relevant touchpoints.
- Serve as a strategic thought partner to business owners, translating challenges into research requirements and proactively identifying research needs to ensure decisions are grounded in deep human-centered understanding.
- Influence stakeholders and contribute to strategic planning and execution within the area of responsibility.
- Track, report, and communicate the impact of insights within the area of responsibility, ensuring findings are delivered and acted upon to support measurable outcomes and inform decision-making.
- Continuously develop expertise by staying current with emerging trends, methodologies, and technologies in the insights field, and contribute to continuous improvement and innovation.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree; Master’s degree in marketing research, psychology, or decision science preferred.
- 5 years of hands-on marketing research and data analysis experience, plus 2 years leading cross-functional initiatives/teams.
- Strong analytical, qualitative, quantitative, and problem-solving skills; ability to synthesize complex data into clear, compelling narratives and influence action.
- Deep experience with market research techniques (focus groups, IDIs, online surveys), survey design, sampling plans, analysis, and data visualization.
- Excellent critical thinking and communication skills; ability to translate analytic results into actionable findings for multiple internal audiences; track record of influencing decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and build consensus across all levels of the organization; strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to challenge assumptions, drive change, provide direction, and align with enterprise priorities.
- Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to lead multiple initiatives and manage time and budgets.
- High accountability and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel 1-2x per year as needed.
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in a related field (preferred).
- Experience with AI-powered analytics and staying current with evolving methodologies and technologies in insights.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting rate: $81,000 to $111,000 annually. Actual starting pay will vary based on experience and other factors. This is a remote position with opportunities to contribute to a mission-driven organization.
