Job title: Senior Manager, Store Development & Planning

About the Role The Senior Manager, Store Development & Planning will play a pivotal role within Richemont's Marketing and Communications team, reporting directly to the Commercial VP. This role is responsible for executing and promoting excellence in the design and presentation of all point-of-sale materials across the network, and for leading the internal design team, consultants, contractors and business partners from feasibility through design development to final construction and turnover.

What You'll Do

  • Lead store planning activities including site location scouting, budgeting and project timelines.
  • Conduct design and development work, produce mood boards, coordinate with internal and external design teams and architects, and support the drawing phase.
  • Manage pre-construction activities: identify project architects/consultants, lead bidding, ensure budget and quality, work with Legal on lease exhibits and contracts, ensure compliance, align with local codes and design intent, monitor design set and permits, lead tender phase and review scopes with bidders.
  • Oversee construction: manage entire project cycle across approximately 5 retail construction projects per year in the Americas; coordinate among SDP, local teams, consultants and vendors; manage turnover and punch list.
  • Handle administration and general tasks: cost tracking and reporting, process invoices with Finance for reconciliations, procure owner-supplied items, maintain accurate status reports and present in meetings; travel up to 30%.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in store design, construction management, or related field; in-house store planning experience preferred.
  • Fluent in AutoCAD, Excel, Adobe CS and Microsoft Project; strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, costs, budgets; ability to read architectural drawings.
  • Understanding of building codes, permitting requirements, ADA and related compliance regulations; ability to review and negotiate bids with architectural firms, GCs, quantity surveyors and CMs.
  • Strong project management, budgeting and negotiation skills; excellent communication and ability to multitask; highly organized with attention to luxury standards.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%, and lift up to 40 pounds; available to work a minimum of 4 days per week in the New York office.

Nice to Have

  • In-house store planning experience preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $130,000 - $150,000 USD per year.
