About the Role Senior Manager, Payroll at Live Nation Entertainment, reporting to the Payroll Director within Shared Services. This role oversees the execution of multi-state U.S. and multi-province Canadian payroll functions and manages a team of 24 direct and indirect reports to ensure timely, accurate payroll delivery with exceptional customer service in a high-volume environment. What You'll Do
- Oversee accurate and timely processing of biweekly, weekly and semi-monthly payrolls for salaried, hourly, tipped, seasonal and union employees across multiple U.S. states and Canadian provinces.
- Lead, mentor and professionally develop payroll team members toward department, company and personal goals.
- Maintain a strong performance management approach, engaging and comfortable addressing employee performance and goal setting.
- Communicate with the team to maintain unity and camaraderie.
- Create and/or process reports to support executive and local management, Human Resources, Benefits, Risk Management and other stakeholders as needed.
- Act as a payroll representative to service providers working with the Payroll office.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and SOX compliance; develop and apply controls for department processes.
- Communicate and resolve issues for Human Resources, Accounting and other departments as needed.
- Apply Change Management best practices to communicate and deliver changes to continuously improve department deliverables.
- Maintain high levels of customer service, including response and resolution, and develop processes to improve service quality.
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and security of payroll data. What We're Looking For
