Job Description

Reports To: General Manager - Network Enterprise Services and Fixed Broadband Services

Division: Network

Mission

• Responsible for the overall management of the Network Enterprise Services planning and service delivery units, providing focus and support required to the team, including Managed and Outsourced services providers to achieve agreed KPI's, SLA's, milestones and quality solutions.

Description

• Provide focus and support for FBB and EB Sales team, enabling the achievement of set strategic objectives.
• Provide technical guidance to FBB and EB commercial team to leverage on technology evolution for nosiness results,
• Provide technical selling skills to assist the Enterprise Sales Team in attracting and retaining customers.
• Monitor the requirements for and implementation of Network Enterprise Services and providing 1st line technical support to the customer.
• Ensure timely planning, design, approval, and deployment of appropriate technology solutions for EB and FBB customers.
• Provide input to Network Division rollout strategy regarding capacity requirement for future path for growing FBB and EB Services related business.
• Coordinate the deployment of EB Services and FTTH infrastructure for MTNN Customers.
• Manage contract (Tenders, Evaluation, Contract Negotiation and Renewal) for outsourced services.
• Lead trials/evaluation of technical solutions and equipment in order to determine suitability for use on the network.
• Research new technology specialist solutions and keep abreast of market developments, identifying solution path and technologies to ensure new capabilities are available on the network for EB and FBB customers.
• Recommend tools (software, hardware) deemed necessary for procurement by the CTO.
• Interact very closely with the all other departments/contractors within and outside MTNN to ensure qualitative and timely Solution Designs and Delivery above KPI performance of Network Enterprise Services.

Education

• First degree in Engineering
• Management Degree will be an advantage
• PMP certification would be an advantage
• Fluent in English and language of country preferable

Experience

9 -17 years of work experience, including:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience at managerial level in a similar capacity in a Telecommunications company

• Extensive project management experience

• Experience of new technology deployment in telecommunications environment.

• Good understanding of fixed and mobile network technologies (voice, data and internet), architecture.

• A sound understanding of MTNN Project Methodology and CAPEX Processes

• A sound understanding of managed services in an operations environment and management of contracted SLA’s

• A good knowledge of global best practices in purchasing and supply

• Very good knowledge of vendor management

• Experience in negotiations, project scoping and monitoring of operations projects and processes
