About the Role The Senior Manager Information Systems will lead and mentor the Clinical Design and Analysis technology services group, delivering innovative technologies to support biostatistical study design and analysis. The role emphasizes leadership in technology-driven clinical design environments, collaboration across cross-functional and global teams, and delivery of end-to-end software solutions within a Scaled Agile Framework.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage large, diverse teams within a matrixed organization.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Attract and recruit top talent as part of Amgen's India Technology organization.
- Develop talent, motivate the team, delegate effectively, champion diversity, and model servant leadership.
- Grow and develop the Amgen Technology team in India with global ways of working embedded locally.
- Collaborate with geographically dispersed teams, including the US and other international locations.
- Understand decision-making processes, workflows, and business and information needs of partners and stakeholders.
- Develop and implement strategic workforce and technology plans.
- Contribute to and define business outcomes, requirements, technology solutions, and services.
- Oversee the software development lifecycle and drive continuous improvement by crafting, monitoring, and optimizing relevant activities.
What We're Looking For
- Proven leadership in technology-driven environments for clinical design and analysis.
- Strong background in end-to-end software development lifecycle within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and transformation experience.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional and global teams in a matrixed organization.
- Track record of delivering high-end and innovative technologies in support of biostatistical study design and analysis.
