Information Security (Info Sec) - Info Sec prevents, detects, responds and mitigates cyber-risk, protecting EY and client data, and our information management systems.

The opportunity This role leads the development of teams providing technical support in protecting Client's digital assets and operations, delivering cyber security operations services, and ensuring alignment with EY’s security strategy. The role will oversee incident response, threat detection, security monitoring, and security engineering activities to safeguard client information and EY’s technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Cyber Security Operations teams delivering monitoring, detection, incident response, and containment activities.
• Develop and implement security operations playbooks, runbooks, and incident response procedures.
• Collaborate with Information Security, Enterprise IT, and client teams to drive continuous improvement in security controls and incident handling.
• Oversee threat intelligence ingestion, correlation, and proactive defense strategies.
• Drive metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement of security operations effectiveness.
• Mentor and develop senior engineers and analysts; manage resource planning and performance management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cyber security operations, incident response, and threat management at a senior or leadership level.
• Strong knowledge of SIEM/EDR tools, security monitoring, and incident response lifecycle.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and working with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, SANS) preferred.
