About the Role The Senior Manager, Finance will be based in the Marlborough manufacturing facility and will provide strategic and tactical financial leadership for multiple manufacturing sites (Marlborough, Rancho, Estonia, Bridgewater). This role acts as the primary operations partner to drive cost optimization, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and continuous improvement across site operations.
What You'll Do
- Serve as a dedicated finance business partner to Operations leaders with daily site connectivity to drive problem solving and translate analytics into actionable insights.
- Provide financial insights and analysis for plant networks to support strategic decision-making and investment prioritization.
- Collaborate with plant leadership to optimize costs and improve operational efficiency; own outputs: Output plan, cost targets, inventory, CAPEX, RPSE.
- Establish, monitor, and analyze plant performance metrics; identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Follow standard reporting processes including utilization, scrap, OT, yield, production variances, and plant performance.
- Own site operations budget, actuals, and forecast setting, including reserves and variances, partnering with the FPA team on complete plant budgets.
- Work with Operations Leader, Supply Chain Leader and other site managers to explain results, manage projects, identify inefficiencies, and participate in strategic discussions and decisions.
- Partner with Sourcing/Procurement and RPS teams to drive cost savings and validate projects.
- Utilize the profit bridge to understand operational performance and productivity drivers to identify actionable insights.
- Perform ad hoc analyses and projects as requested.
- Manage, coach, and develop a small team (2-3) with regular coaching and performance feedback.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance.
- 7-10 years of accounting or finance experience in manufacturing.
- MBA or CPA/Chartered Accountant preferred.
- Ability to lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
- Highly detail-oriented and organized; strong ownership and self-starter.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and accounting/auditing principles.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to work with global colleagues.
- Indirect influence with the ability to drive change and advocate for improvement.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: The estimated base salary range is USD 132,700 - 203,000 per year.
- Benefits: paid time off, health/dental/vision, retirement benefits and flexible spending accounts. Compensation decisions depend on qualifications, location, equity, market data. Eligible for variable bonus/stock programs as applicable.
