About the Role The Senior Manager Data Science and Advanced Analytics - Operations leads data-driven strategy and execution for the Operations function in a consumer packaged goods company. The role blends strategic insight with hands-on analytics to optimize performance across supply chain and manufacturing, order-to-cash, and demand planning & forecasting. In a player-coach capacity, the Senior Manager leads a small team of 2 analysts while personally delivering key analyses and recommendations to guide operational decision-making.

What You'll Do

• Deliver actionable insights across supply chain, manufacturing, order-to-cash, and demand planning processes to improve operational efficiency and performance.
• Develop and own the Operations analytics roadmap (metrics, dashboards, advanced analysis) to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Ensure effective integration of data from ERP and Salesforce systems, collaborating with IT on data architecture and flow enhancements for a holistic view of Operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, IT) to identify opportunities and translate data findings into strategic recommendations.

What We're Looking For

• Significant experience in operations-focused analytics or business intelligence (supply chain, manufacturing, or customer operations) in a CPG or similar industry, with a track record of using data to drive process improvements and optimize performance.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP or Oracle) and Salesforce CRM, including conceptual knowledge of data flows between these enterprise systems.
• Ability to define data-driven strategies and translate insights into actionable recommendations; strong analytical and storytelling skills; proven ability to partner with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making.
• Experience leading or working in a small team (2 analysts) and a proven ability to mentor and develop talent.

Nice to Have

• Experience with data integration and data architecture related to ERP and CRM systems; familiarity with SAP/Oracle data structures and Salesforce data model.
• Prior experience in a consumer packaged goods environment, manufacturing or supply chain optimization, and leading data-driven continuous improvement initiatives.
