About the Role Based in India, Amgen Engineering's Project Controls organization seeks a Senior Manager, Cost Management Continuous Improvement to lead the Cost Management Continuous Improvement tower for global capital projects. You will oversee service delivery, team leadership, SAP-enabled process discipline, continuous improvement, and standardization to improve cost visibility, quality, productivity, and execution across the project lifecycle.

What You'll Do

• Lead the Cost Management Continuous Improvement tower supporting global capital projects.
• Manage and develop a high-performing team across cost management, project controls support, and project finance / Source-to-Pay activities.
• Oversee cost management services including cost reporting, forecast support, commitments, actuals, accruals, change tracking, budget tracking, variance analysis, and closeout support.
• Drive standardization, continuous improvement, and process discipline across cost management workflows, tools, templates, and ways of working.
• Serve as a functional lead for SAP-enabled project cost management processes, partnering with digital and process teams as needed.
• Establish and monitor service delivery metrics to improve quality, timeliness, productivity, and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Partner with Engineering, Project Controls, Finance, Procurement, Source-to-Pay, and project teams to improve cost visibility and execution support.
• Own business requirements, reporting standards, and data discipline needed to support cost management reporting and analytics.
• Strengthen compliance and audit readiness across cost management, reporting, Source-to-Pay, and project controls processes through clear documentation, data integrity, and reporting discipline that supports cost predictability and visibility.

What We're Looking For

• Experience leading cost management Continuous Improvement for global capital projects within a large engineering/biotech organization.
• Ability to manage and develop a high-performing team across cost management, project controls support, and project finance / Source-to-Pay activities.
• Strong knowledge of SAP-enabled project cost management processes and cross-functional collaboration with digital and process teams.
• Proven track record in cost reporting, forecast support, commitments, actuals, accruals, change tracking, budget tracking, variance analysis, and closeout support.
• Ability to establish service delivery metrics and improve quality, timeliness, productivity, and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Strong partnership across Engineering, Project Controls, Finance, Procurement, Source-to-Pay, and project teams to improve cost visibility.
• Experience ensuring compliance and audit readiness through documentation and data discipline.
