Senior Manager - Corporate Communications
YOUR MISSION
Reports to: Director Marketing
Position Summary
- To strategize and execute external and internal communications practices successfully
- Responsible for enhancing brand image of Puma
- Increasing media coverage by creating interesting story ideas
- Managing direct relationships with media and agencies
Key Objectives
- Developing and implementing integrated internal and external corporate communication plans across the company to support functional and organizational goals
- Build and manage relationships with key industry media, print, digital as well as electronic, across business, sport and lifestyle
- Manage response to media inquiries and pitch proactive trend-based stories to national and international media
- Identify and execute media and other external opportunities that help establish PUMA as a sports brand
- Create and sustain interesting story ideas around PUMA ambassadors, athletes and influencers in India
- Conceptualize and develop creative ideas for fashion and lifestyle PR
- Manage any crisis-led PR that may arise
- Thought leadership positioning through industry-led events, Op-eds, interviews etc
- Scale up proactive communication - Continue to drive strong narratives to build positivity around the brand
- Create brand heat through product-led narratives in key national fashion and lifestyle media
- Act as a primary custodian to ideate and execute content for PUMA India on LinkedIn and manage reviews on Glassdoor
- Work with HR to develop content for internal communication collaterals
- Drive initiatives that solve for employer branding and positioning

YOUR TALENT
Eligibility Criteria and Functional Competencies
- 10-12 years experience in external communications, employee engagement and stakeholder management
- Excellent communication skills with a strong command over English language
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while delivering high impact results
- Work in a fast-paced work environment while meeting the requirements of various teams in parallel
- Comfortable in interacting with the leadership and is able to put points across clearly with confidence
- Experience working in PR, communications and/or Journalism
- Strong pre-existing relationships with media, agencies, and key independent industry stakeholders
