About the Role Senior Consulting Manager leads large-scale organizational change at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, guiding planning, analysis, and decision-making on strategic priorities. Based in Boston and surrounding communities with a hybrid work arrangement (2-3 days onsite), the role uses a hypothesis-driven approach, cross-functional collaboration, and the management of multiple complex projects, potentially with small project teams.

What You'll Do

  • Drive large-scale organizational change and manage multiple Institute-wide, highly complex, ambiguous projects.
  • Identify value creation opportunities and build planning structures to realize value.
  • Apply a structured, hypothesis-driven approach to problem solving; conduct analysis, research, and projections; build business cases; lead ad hoc research and due diligence; translate findings into actionable recommendations for decisions.
  • Create project roadmaps and workplans; track progress, escalate issues, and manage PMO functions including governance, tools, and reporting; coordinate with cross-functional teams and anticipated clinical partners.
  • Conduct impact analyses to assess readiness and financial implications; support change management, communications, and stakeholder engagement related to project delivery.
  • Collaborate with staff, mid-level, and executive leaders (including C-Suite); build consensus and secure commitment to recommendations and implementation plans; maintain ongoing stakeholder relationships.
  • Develop and adapt consulting frameworks and approaches to accelerate insights and results across projects.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience leading large-scale transformations and driving organizational change in complex environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct analyses, build business cases, and translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Proven ability to manage PMO functions, program management, risk, governance, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Exemplary stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior leaders and the C-Suite; ability to build consensus and secure commitment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and to develop and apply consulting frameworks.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $133,000 - $155,700 per year.
